Yiwei Qi, MSW Intern

Yiwei Qi is a graduate student intern from China, currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan, specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse. She has hands-on clinical experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician, supporting children with autism, and as a Counseling Assistant providing psychodynamic therapy support and community outreach. 

Yiwei is passionate about reducing stigma, promoting culturally responsive care, and helping 
individuals build resilience. Also, she is committed to using evidence-based approaches to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered in their healing process. Her goal is to grow into a compassionate and effective clinical therapist, dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality mental health services for diverse communities.
