She/Her
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
I am passionate about holistic wellness and the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance required to reach and preserve it. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for people to express their unique lived experiences and feel heard. I believe in meeting clients where they are at, utilizing elements of feminist, cognitive behavioral and person-centered therapy to promote healing, empowerment and growth.
I have a background in working with children and adolescents, teaching dance for the past 15
years. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and have been teaching for 17 years in a variety of settings.
In the future, I hope to specialize in working with women with ADHD and Autism by providing
support for the unique cognitive, emotional, and social challenges they face in daily life.
As a mother of two daughters and surrogate birth mother of my niece, I am a passionate advocate for women’s and LGBTQ rights. I am also a lover of and advocate for animals, and volunteer for the rescue No Swine Left Behind in Edmore, MI. I have a lifelong love of learning in addition to dance, photography, reading, and gardening.
